JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for moving, handling, and storing various materials within the warehouse or production facility. This role involves ensuring materials are properly stocked, transported, and organized to facilitate efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Storing Materials: Unload materials from delivery trucks, inspect for accuracy and quality, and store them in designated locations. Material Movement: Transport materials to and from production lines, storage areas, or shipping docks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of material quantities and locations. Order Fulfillment: Pick and prepare materials for production or shipment based on work orders or shipping requests. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions. Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork for receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions. Use computerized inventory systems to update records. Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage or defects and ensure they meet quality standards before use or shipment. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff, production teams, and management to coordinate material handling activities and resolve any issues. Trash Removal 2 years of forklift experience required. 2 years of warehouse experience required. Ability to work at fast pace. Problem solving skills. Ability to handle more than one task at a time. Ability to prioritize tasks given. Willing to work in hot/cold weather. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems. Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand or walk for extended periods. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
