JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Position Purpose We are looking for a highly motivated applicant to provide technical support for set up a Large Language Model (LLM) for single cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) data. Specifically, we have scRNAseq data on Neurofibromatosis Type I (NF1)-assoicated tumors, and we aim to set up a LLM on HPC or a local PC to run the downstream ananlysis. The candidate will provide foundational support for the laboratory that includes the following tasks: Python decoding, Machine Learning algorithm optimization, scRNAseq LLM set up and optimization, and training the LLM using NF1 tumor data. Organized record keeping and responsible research performance are required. Effective communication regarding all of these duties is expected between the candidate and the lab PI and team members in either one on one settings or in lab meetings. Primary Functionsset up LLM model, streamline the scRNAseq data analysis using python. Participate in regular one-on-one and lab meetings with principal investigator and research staff and evaluate/interpret the validity of data, develop methodologies, evaluate lab procedures Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Python coding, machine learning experience, Linux system, deep learning tool kit Preferred Schedule: Flexible, Full Time Position Requirements: Minimum Required Education: Current High School Student or recent graduate Minimum Required Experience: No experience required.
