Position Summary: Responsible for supervising and assessing youth treatment specialists on third shift as they interact with residents and provide for the day-to-day care and supervision of residents at 24-hour Residential Care Center, Type II. Essential Functions: Provide leadership for third shift operations team and role model for Youth Treatment Specialists. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure youth\'s emotional and behavioral health needs are met and youth treatment specialists are carrying out treatment plans. Provide weekly one-to-one supervision of Lead Youth Treatment Specialists and Youth Treatment Specialists to ensure professional growth and development and youths treatment plans are followed and regularly communicate with staff. Write and deliver staff performance evaluations and staff coaching and disciplinary actions. Participate in interviewing applicants and see them through the hiring process. Facilitate new staff onboarding including conducting new staff orientations, initial trainings, new policy and procedure implementation, and ongoing trainings in collaboration with senior leadership. Lead daily shift transition meetings, monthly staff meetings, and co-lead consultation team meetings with clinical team. Review and approve all documentation including communication logs, shift reports, serious incident reports as required by the funding and licensing agencies with the timelines identified. Provide oversight, structure, and ensure bedroom checks, monitor security cameras, supervision of youth, and carry out other quality assurance projects such as building walk throughs, completing the shift plan, and quality assurance report for each shift. Attend professional development activities, management meetings during day time hours with senior leadership. Administer medication and ensure staff are aware of medication changes in collaboration with medical providers and nursing staff. Conduct file audits of communication logs and staff follow up.
