Our client, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Team Member to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving Team Member, you will be under the direction of the Value Stream Manager and Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully with the organization.

Shipping & Receiving Team Member

Location: Milwaukie, OR

Pay Range: $18-$23 DOE

Duration: Temp-About 90 days

What’s the Job?

1. Pick, pack, ship, and invoice orders based on printed order shipping lists or shipping requests.

2. Receive parts and items, verify against packing slips or material travelers, and deliver materials to proper inventory locations.

3. Work with Planners, Customer Service, and Buyers to resolve issues as needed.

4. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and identify opportunities to improve processes.

5. Follow all standard operating procedures, including CTPAT.

What’s Needed?

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Previous shipping and/or receiving experience highly preferred.

3. Familiarity with lifting devices (chains, straps, slings), electric pallet jack, forklift, hand truck, and overhead crane.

4. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software programs.

5. Ability to lift 1-40 pounds independently and work in a physically demanding environment.
