The Opportunity
FCA is excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Chief of Staff. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a high-visibility strategic partner that supports the President/CEO with high-level support, project management, and execution of strategic initiatives.
The ideal Chief of Staff provides the organizational and communication framework for employees, middle-management, and leadership team members to achieve annual goals.
Specifically, the responsibilities and qualifications of the position include:
Responsibilities
Acts as a strategic advisor to the President/CEO and senior management team.
Acts as an extension of and represents President/CEO in meetings and in communications. Filters, funnels and facilitates information with internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with President/CEO on legislative/advocacy activities and facilitate meetings with elected officials.
Oversees agency operations, inclusive of facilities and IT departments.
Serve as a key liaison to the Board of Trustees and help coordinate outgoing communications and messaging, as necessary.
Oversee and help run cadence for leadership meetings, board meetings, and leadership offsites.
Works with Human Resources to structure and edit agency-wide internal communication.
In consultation with Human Resources, serves as a liaison between FCA employees, executives and the President/CEO regarding employee well-being, company culture and morale.
Qualifications
At least 15 years of experience across a variety of functions including at least five years directly supporting an executive leader (preferably a President, CEO or Executive Director), elected official or high-profile thought leader in a fast-paced environment.
BA/BS required; master's degree preferred.
Strategic thinker, data-driven and analytical in approach to solving problems.
Excels at building relationships and networks, diplomatic, dynamic and influences others to achieve outcomes.
Exceptional written and verbal communications, thoughtful listener and can easily distill/convey information into agendas/briefs for timely review.
Compensation Information
- The competitive compensation range is reflected with FCA's framework, culture, and values. Individual pay decisions will vary based on skills and experience' while still allowing for growth.
Additional Information
$120,000 - $140,000 (reflects experience)
Schedule: (M-F), evening and weekend hours, as needed
This role is full-time (35 hours/week), Exempt
