Counselor (Part-Time)
The Opportunity
The Counselor provides counseling for elder abuse victims, and assists victims of abuse to connect with resources and support.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and current statistics to be submitted to the program Director each month
Provide counseling and assistance to elder abuse victims in accessing supportive services including: counseling, connecting to community based care through home based, individualized case management services.
Administer satisfaction survey and collect data to measure benefit of services.
Monitor and track referral source and connect with NC District Attorney's office to track referrals and work collaboratively.
Complete all case records/forms and data base for tracking program activities as required by program.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work or related field required.
Case Management, Counseling or outreach experience preferred.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft office required.
Valid New York State Driver's License required.

Salary: $30.00/hr
