Center for Energy and Environment Business Systems Analyst II in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description CEE is seeking a detail-oriented problem solver to join our Business Systems Analyst team. As part of this team you will manage, build, , and advance internal facing Salesforce apps with a particular focus on our professional services automation tool. This position will be a Salesforce Administrator role supporting project managers and operations staff with project management, accounting, and reporting functions. You will be the primary point of contact for CEE's Klient PSA implementation, responsible for understanding business requirements and designing project- and budget-monitoring tools with end-users. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of project management and the Salesforce platform to analyze project financial and performance data, integrate it with operations systems, and work closely with stakeholders to solve complex business problems. This is a full time, intermediate level position that reports to the lead Business Systems Analyst. Responsibilities Administer and optimize data systems and operational workflows for program managers and financial leadership. Identify new opportunities to expand CEE's use of Salesforce for program implementation. Work with program managers and accounting colleagues to define performance metrics, identify data requirements and tailor processes and reports to fit business needs. Analyze program data to support strategic decision-making and assess business effectiveness. Provide training on professional services automation software to project managers and operational staff, and document best practices. Work with accounting staff and software vendors to customize complex invoicing procedures. Uphold data security standards for company and customer data. Recommend process improvements and inform users about system functionality and enhancements Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through attending workshops, reviewing publications, and networking. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Proficiency in collaboration, consensus building, problem-solving and quantitative critical thinking skills. Skilled in time management, task organization, and team collaboration. 3+ years experience building Salesforce applications, particularly in a project billing company or organization environment. Basic knowledge of accounting concepts, experience in integrating accounting software data Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, professional services automation such as FinancialForce/Certinia or Klient, Sage Intacct or similar software, and integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Workato preferred. Compensation Depending upon qualification and experience, the salary range for this position is expected to be between $70-$75K.
