Conflux Systems/ Verum Technical Fiber Lab Technician in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Our client is a Minnesota company who manufactures and markets many branded consumer products. Their history dates to back the mid 1800 s. Do you have a passion for the creation of food and the packaging of food? Our client has an opening for a high-energy Fiber Lab Technician. The commercial lab is fast-paced and high-volume. They use wet chemistry and high-tech instrumentation to test food samples ranging from ingredients to finished products. The results will be used, by customers, to support claims, nutritional data, and monitor regulatory compliance. This position is responsible for Testing, analyzing, and reporting accurate and timely results for over 6 test methods with multiple method variations across the Fiber Lab Organize workload and prioritize samples to maximize output and meet deadlines Execution of Food Testing Methods Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting Meet Quality control and ISO 17025 requirements Maintain a work environment that complies with safety rules Cross-functional support as business needs dictate Schedule: FT 40 hrs, 4-10hr shifts or 5-8hr shifts, OT as needed Salary: $23/ hr (long term contract) Location: Minneapolis, MN Benefits: Health Insurance Medical / Dental / Vision
