Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Recruiter to be based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role primarily revolves around the non-profit sector, focusing on the recruitment of vital roles such as case managers and corporate positions. The successful candidate will be a key actor in the hiring process, from sourcing potential candidates to conducting preliminary screenings, and finally to extending job offers.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage a load of 10-12 requisitions, ensuring all job listings are updated and accurate.

• Primarily focus on the recruitment of case manager roles, recognizing their crucial function within the organization.

• Conduct preliminary screenings for open positions before presenting potential candidates to the relevant leaders for further review.

• Utilize various sourcing tools such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and partnerships with community organizations to cast a wide net in search of suitable candidates.

• Manage interview scheduling using tools such as Calendly to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

• Responsible for extending job offers to selected candidates and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.

• Conduct necessary pre-employment checks, such as background checks and driver's license confirmations.

• Collaborate closely with management and adjust recruitment processes as needed to meet the organization's evolving needs.

• Use CRM and Applicant Track System to maintain accurate records of all applicants and their progress through the hiring process.

• Engage in cold-calling and applicant screening as part of the recruitment process. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar Recruiter role, preferably within the non-profit sector

• Proficiency in using Careerbuilder for sourcing potential candidates

• Experience with CRM software for managing and analyzing customer interactions and data

• Familiarity with Applicant Track System for streamlining recruitment processes

• Ability to conduct thorough background checks in compliance with local laws and regulations

• Comfortable with making cold calls to prospective candidates as part of recruitment strategies

• Expertise in applicant screening to assess candidate's suitability for the role

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively screen applicants during the interview process

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
