Description We are offering an opportunity for a Database Developer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role primarily involves managing and maintaining databases, creating streamlined processes for data extraction, and ensuring data quality. The position is a contractual role, providing an opportunity to work in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis and manage databases

• Develop streamlined processes for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), ensuring efficient loading of extracted data to destination databases

• Perform data profiling of source data to identify and resolve data quality issues and anomalies

• Establish data validation rules on source data to confirm correctness and/or expected values

• Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes

• Create process clean-up after complex ETL processes, releasing resources used to run ETL

• Handle error handling and SSIS restart procedures

• Use Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS ETL tools effectively in a data warehouse environment

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server

• Experience with ETL - Extract Transform Load

• Knowledge of SSIS ETL

• Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices

• Ability to design, create, and implement database systems

• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL code

• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems

• Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL

• Experience with performance tuning of database systems

• Experience in developing complex database systems including storage, data access and security solutions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
