Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency Staff Nurse RN (0.5 FTE) - Neurology Clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Hennepin Healthcare is hiring aStaff Nurse RN(0.5 FTE: 5 shifts days/pay period, 8 hour shifts) for our Neurology Clinic in downtown Minneapolis to work day shift.
/**This position is currently Monday-Friday day hours but may expand to include evenings and weekends as we grow./
A sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates (current employees and former employees returning to HHS within one year are ineligible).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:
- Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health
- Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care
- Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response
- Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others
- Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care
- Educating patient on their disease process
- Assuring continuity of care
- Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
* * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing * Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
