Actalent Supply Chain Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Title: Supply Chain AnalystJob Description

Manage day-to-day Supply Chain MRP planning activities, including direct purchase order placement, vendor communication, and follow-up, reorder point/safety stock calculations, and supply risk assessment. Implement and support process improvements and lead moderate-level projects aimed at enhancing business tools and processes. Analyze materials and sources to recommend improvements, communicate project statuses to management, and establish policies and procedures for the supply chain. The role demands strong independent work skills and the ability to thrive in a non-hierarchical organization. Provide backup support for coordinators, supervisors, and managers as needed.

Hard Skills

  • MRP planning (SAP preferred)

  • Excel skills (pivot tables, v-look ups)

  • Experience in packaging specifications

  • Loop ties calculations for pallets

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong communication skills

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Project management

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota and some days remote.

Work Environment

The role involves spending 75% of the time on the shop floor, taking measurements and building plans for parts, and 25% working with vendors to improve processes and packaging.
