Job Position: Landscape Laborer
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Mitchell, SD 57301
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.
Job Summary:
Mon-Fri | 7:30AM- 5:00PM
Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. As a Landscape Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscape installation, maintenance, and enhancement. This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities:
Assist with landscape installations, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers
Operate and maintain various landscaping tools and equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and removing weeds
Support irrigation system installation and maintenance, including sprinkler installation and repair
Assist with the installation of hardscape features, such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls
Assist in the construction and maintenance of outdoor living spaces, including decks, pergolas, and fire pits
Perform general landscaping tasks, such as mulching, edging, and pruning
Requirements:
Previous experience in landscaping or a related field preferred
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions
Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of landscaping tools and equipment
Basic understanding of plant identification and care
Ability to follow instructions and work well independently and in a team setting
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a neat and orderly work area
