This position will report out of our field office in Jackson, CA with occasional travel to additional offices in the local area as needed.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Work with safety personnel to ensure that project is being built in accordance with OSHA and company regulations and that proper training is occurring .

  • Work closely with the division, field, and project management to ensure successful delivery of the project .

  • Support daily, weekly and monthly meetings, as assigned, including meeting communication, documentation of the minutes, and tracking of the action items .

  • Setup, organize, update, and maintain electronic and printed files of project documents utilizing various systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and SharePoint.

  • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines .

  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, subcontractors, and engineers to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction constraints.

  • Assist with the preparations of budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.

  • Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.

  • Coordinate, schedule, and manage subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers, such as traffic control, digging, etc.

  • Track work completion and provide progress reporting .

  • Update project management on all project progress and field personnel changes .

  • Execute corrective actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies.

  • Abide by the conditions of local permits and work with local jurisdictions and utility companies for all scopes of work .

  • Help develop, submit, track, and maintain all project submittals and support documentation.

  • Audit timesheets for accuracy and submit to payroll for processing.

  • Conduct project close out activities. Assists with all contractual closeout activities (lessons learned, as built review, as built submittals, punch list items, etc.)

  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by management .

What You'll Bring

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Degree in relevant field or relevant work experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint required; Visio, PowerPoint preferred)

  • Effective communication (oral, written, presentation, listening)

  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks

  • Ability to work onsite and travel locally as needed to support the project

  • Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s)

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $25.00/Hr. - USD $40.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
