Description

Robert Half is hiring a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our respective client's finance team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounts payable tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and performing General Ledger (GL) coding. This role requires candidates to have a strong focus on data entry and accuracy.

Location: On-site in Moline, Illinois

Hours: 20-25 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Check, verify, sort, code, and process invoices.

Process and reconcile credit card charges, gas receipts, and employee expense reimbursements.

Prepare payment uploads with third-party payment processors.

Match and reconcile manufacturer invoices with statements and parts receiving reports.

Record and track credits.

Review various schedules and invoices for accuracy and research discrepancies.

Prepare documentation for trades with other dealers.

Administrative duties including filing and scanning.

Answer overflow phone calls from the Call Center.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or relevant certification a plus.

Requires two years of office experience; previous accounting experience a plus.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) applications.

Comfortable learning and using various software and online systems.

Strong data entry, computer, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Able to work collaboratively with staff, customers, and vendors.
