Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years asphalt plant maintenance experience

  • Welding experience

  • Ability to travel between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience running, trouble shooting, and repairing asphalt plant

  • Fall arrest certification

  • First aid training

  • Electrical experience

Day in the Life

We’re seeking a Maintenance Lead for our Asphalt plant, the secret ingredient in our recipe for success! The oil that keeps our operation running smoothly, mixing, pouring, and paving the way to excellence. Embrace the heat, grit, and grind as you assist in the creation of every load in a step closer to building the roads of tomorrow.

You will troubleshoot any plant issues that arise and maintain the plant on a daily basis, performing the routine and preventative maintenance of lubrication and conducting major and minor repairs. Attention to detail will be imperative when completing daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspections and maintenance logs. You will also assist in the maintenance budget, source parts needed for general maintenance, and provide support and guidance to the plant Foreperson as needed. Communication with other team members, managers, and sub contractors for scheduling and establishing priorities as well as a safety focused mindset will be essential to ensure the highest quality of asphalt products.
