Lead a marketing team in applying principles of Marketing Excellence to gain strong customer insights, and to lead the strategic and tactical development and implementation of customer focused and innovative marketing plans that will enhance customer value and accelerate growth of brands.

Role Description

  • Applying principles of JnJ Value Excellence to gain strong customer insights, and to lead the strategic and tactical development and implementation of customer focused and innovative marketing plans that will enhance customer value and accelerate growth of specific portfolio

  • Collaborating with regional marketing and partners in the development of current and future brand strategies

  • Spending time with customers to develop relationships, understand needs and translate needs into business opportunities

  • Providing strong leadership and direction to align and engage a cross functional team including direct reports and others

  • Actively contributing to the direction of the business unit

  • Working collaboratively with sales and marketing, and other business partners, to build and leverage interdependencies across our business and across divisions to drive innovation, accelerate growth and meet and exceed our financial commitments

  • Collaborating with Strategic Marketing Lead to prepare for new product development opportunities

Experience Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in science, business, pharmacy, or related field

  • At least 5 years diverse healthcare-related industry experience; pharmaceutical experience, preferred or PG30 & above

  • Must have combination of previous successful experiences in Health Care marketing and sales, proven people leadership, including experience in sales management, and at least 3 years of experience in Marketing Management

  • Foundational competencies in tactical plan development and implementation, business planning process execution, forecasting and marketing research, and effective leadership skills are required

  • Product launch experience would be as asset

  • Track record in driving innovative solutions through strategic thinking and intellectual curiosity; collaboration and teaming; organization and talent development, and customer focus

  • Experience working in other functions is an asset

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities including strong presentation and facilitation skills
