The Director of EH&S will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for plants located on Bakers Campus to accomplish EH&S objectives while driving continuous improvement with program compliance and implementation.
Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)
Work across ATI with EH&S groups to share best practices and standardize processes/programs.
Manage EH&S team at multiple sites which includes performance management, development and coaching
Ensure that all operations comply with relevant legislation, company guidelines, standards and procedures.
Develop and communicate strategies around safety and environmental processes and programs.
Provide guidance and direction to leadership on strategies around EH&S objectives and vision to achieve business goals.
Create and drive a high engagement culture that empowers and motivates all employees to perform at their highest levels by establishing clear direction, stretch goals, providing necessary resources while driving accountability
Conduct trends analysis and reporting of results against key EH&S metrics to drive reduction in injury and illness rates
Take a leading role in planning, coordinating, monitoring and implementing EH&S policies and procedures.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed EH&S regulations mandated by federal and state organizations.
