QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Maintenance Technician at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a direct hire position for 3rd shift. Apply today! Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment - Repair or rebuild various plant and process equipment including pumps, motos, gearboxes, valves and other related equipment - Repair, rebuild or replace hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and understand flow controls - Understand and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (Nomenclature, input, output, etc.) - Repair and replace instrumentation to include level sensors, RTD\'s, chart recorders and other controls as needed - Operate forklifts/platforms - Perform required preventative maintenance on plant and process equipment - Perform electrical troubleshooting on various plant and process equipment including amp and voltage readings, testing fuses, and understanding electrical prints - Weld various metals using wire feed, stick, or TIG - Repair and replace equipment and controls on the cooling water and steam systems including valves, traps, return pumps, chemical feed pumps, etc. - Conducts boiler water tests and operate boiler as needed ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - At least two years of maintenance experience - Mechanical background - Working knowledge of pumps, motors and valves - Dairy background preferred - Some plumbing experience - Experience in electrical, welding and HVAC preferred but not required - Able to lift up to 50lbs ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: monroe@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://www.qpsemployment.com/job-seekers/search-results/details/job/730950 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
