Description

Fantastic winter environment, leading a small staff groups in an inspiring luxury mountain setting. Often physical work while in constant contact with guests. Must be enthusiastic, energetic and willing to learn. Will be required to work in snow and cold temperatures. The Snow Sports supervisor is responsible for creating a safe and thrilling experience that is inclusive to everyone.

Requirements

While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as a Snow Sports Supervisor:

  • Provides a high level of service to our guests.

  • Understands and operates in compliance with department training and safety requirements.

  • Tests snow tubing lanes for quality control regularly.

  • Proactively anticipates changing conditions and communicates in a timely manner with leadership.

  • Maintains tubing lanes and guest areas with hand tools, especially during changing conditions.

  • Sets up and tears down area daily, including equipment inspection.

  • Attends and contributes to daily operations meetings to gather information on upcoming events and operational changes

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Previous recreation or customer service experience.

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekend, evenings, and holidays.

  • May be tasked with operating heavy equipment such as a Snowcat or other mechanical grooming device.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Most tasks are performed outdoors in variable weather conditions, including hot, cold, windy and wet weather. Temperature can be extreme but is usually moderate. Frequently works near moving/mechanical parts. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to reach with arms and hands; bend and stoop; remain at post standing for extended periods of time; required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; place and remove snow tubes, skis, and other winter recreation equipment. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
