Summary

Bell Consumer Sales and Distribution Residential Services is presently recruiting for the position of ‘Account Manager’. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with key industry partners to ensure support throughout the contract term to renewal. They will look to ensure the complete execution and support of all sales and marketing benefits associated with the account including the approval of accurate client payments. They will also be responsible for managing customer expectations, processing contract addendums, administrative requests, and manage account portfolios on a consistent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing Bell Access and Marketing agreements with rental portfolios, and property management companies within assigned territories

  • Manage a defined set of accounts within a territory

  • Proactively strive to build “partnership” style relationships focusing on integration at all levels. Interacting with various individuals at the corporate client and within Bell to solve problems, build strong partnerships, and drive improved internet penetration within the managed accounts.

  • Work closely with sales and marketing to develops strategic sales opportunities

  • Conduct formal and informal presentations to industry executives, senior managers and building decision makers

  • Processing contracts into internal database, pulling reports from internal sources, and formulating contracts as required.

  • Liaise with numerous internal Bell teams, in addition to external vendors and clients to process required documents and customer requests

  • Additional administrative responsibilities as required

Critical Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of business development/account management

  • Strong written and oral communication for both French and English language.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, particularly in managing complex contract detail, sales data and compensation processing.

  • Strong partnering skills with external and internal partners, enabling smooth transition and handoffs across various stakeholders.

  • Extensive knowledge of Bell and competitor services in the residential market

  • Experience in the residential condo or rental market is an asset

  • In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills – team player who enjoys a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills

  • Detail oriented with analytical mindset

  • Time-management and goal oriented

  • Confident presentation style with ability to connect with diverse audiences

  • Comfortable with Microsoft suite of products including PowerPoint and Excel

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce is preferred, but not required

Additional Requirements

  • Work experience in Business Development/Sales/Marketing

  • Post-secondary Business degree is preferred

  • Schedule Flexibility – occasional attendance at evening events/meeting
