POSITION OVERVIEW

You will play a lead role in defining data dependencies to produce analytical information necessary for decision making to define real estate strategies with the objective of optimizing the rental property portfolio. The Senior Analyst creates and implements models to present simulations, analyses and other reports related to real estate information and occupancy data, while ensuring data integrity. This role will leverage your data management skills and curiosity. This department manages BDC's corporate and national real estate portfolio. You will be successful in this role:

  • You enjoy analyzing data from multiple sources and have a foundation in SQL and/or programming

  • You have experience with database management and design, PowerBi, dynamic table skills and Query

  • You have an affinity with the corporate real estate world

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Define internal data requirements so they remain in line with the strategic goals of the Real Estate and Facilities Management team and ensure the maintenance and integrity of data.

  • Actively contribute to the annual strategic review of the real estate portfolio to provide the information needed to prepare the corporate plan.

  • Develop real estate forecasting models by analyzing occupancy data for our spaces in hybrid mode, collected using sensors, access data and a seat reservation system, to facilitate decision-making and enhance our ability to optimize the space in our business centres.

  • Ensure that real estate data conforms with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by working closely with the Finance department to provide the required reports. Keep the database of real estate contracts up to date.

  • Play a key role in structuring real estate data and serve as a contact person for diverse internal and external stakeholders in order to guide and supervise the team that manages real estate planning, analysis and forecasting.

  • Prepare forecasts and simulations and provide analyses of financial results to support decision-making related to the selection of various real estate projects.

  • Interact with our real estate services provider to ensure the integrity of real estate data by comparing data from different platforms and performing quality controls.

  • Keep up with internal changes and developments to ensure the alignment and evolution of data management is in line with internal practices.

  • Prioritize development initiatives and follow up on requests. Ensure appropriate governance and maintain the list of ongoing activities.
