Sharp Electronics Corporation Senior Rebates and Accrual Analyst in Montvale, New Jersey

Overview

The Senior Rebates and Accruals Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting rebate claims in accordance with the terms and conditions of the annual marketing program letters for the dealer sales channel. The Rebate Analyst is responsible for the monthly reconciliation of all programs and rebates for the dealer sales channel. This position requires extensive knowledge of marketing annual programs and monthly incentive promotions. Communication is a key requirement both internally and externally on attainment levels for all programs on a monthly basis. An ability to review processes and suggest improvement or automation opportunities and manage a project from inception to completion is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in program discussions with sales and marketing teams and business planning to ensure operations can execute all programs

  • Generate, analyze, and distribute monthly rebate and accrual reports for the SIICA organization

  • Develop Key Performance Indicators related to rebates and marketing programs; measuring key SLA’s for rebate reporting and pay out

  • Work crossfunctionally with the marketing team to analyze data from multiple systems, creating a single view by customer of all rebate activity

  • Responsible for exception processing; documenting and obtaining approvals for all requests which are outside of the published sales promotions or Order Administration policies

  • Ensure rebates are approved and paid timely

  • Reconcile credits with customers and 3 rd party collections

  • Generates reports for quarterly and fiscal rebates, follows through for approvals and submits to Finance for issuance within 30 days of the program close

  • Responsible for producing and maintaing process documentation

  • Responsible for reconciliation of customer deductions as a result of pricing discrepancies and sell through programs

  • Management Projects may be assigned from time to time

  • Perform credits and rebills as required to correct pricing discrepancies

  • Perform sampling of audit slections as requested by internal as well as external auditors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business preferred

  • Minimum of 3- 5 years related business experience

  • Must posess excellent analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a requirement

  • Must have a working knowledge of SAP system

  • Project management skills are required

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $61,500-$100,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
