The Solutions Cloud Engineer takes charge of crafting and building cloud-native platforms primarily on Azure and AWS. This includes overseeing virtual machines, containers, serverless architectures, network configurations, storage solutions, security measures, and various platform services like analytics and databases. They also specialize in architecting Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) using tools like MuleSoft or Boomi. Additionally, they design software-defined strategies for managing infrastructure, deploying applications, and providing services.

Their responsibilities extend to migrating on-premises production and testing environments to the cloud while offering continuous technical support throughout and after the transition. Daily tasks involve the upkeep and management of cloud-based infrastructure.

responsibilities:

• Crafting cutting-edge technical solutions on Azure and AWS that cater to client requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.

• Installing, configuring, automating, and monitoring diverse cloud services encompassing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).

• Setting up application-aware infrastructure to autonomously manage application needs, security, and disaster recovery functions like backups and data restoration.

• Executing operational engineering tasks such as platform upgrades, server patching, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and developers to devise functional design specifications.

• Developing and maintaining all necessary cloud provisioning scripts for single instances, environment-based (e.g., dev, prod), or region-specific resources.

• Coordinating closely with the DevOps team to implement additional cloud automation beyond the infrastructure layer.

• Leading and orchestrating the efforts of an integrated project team comprising developers, subject matter experts, database administrators, system administrators, and system architects to deploy and sustain enterprise-level IT applications.

• Taking charge of all cloud technology deployment activities, workflow configuration and development, and integration with third-party systems.
