FlexStaff Maintenance and Reliability Manager in Morrisville, North Carolina

FlexStaff is seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Manager for our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will be working the first shift, Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm in their Morrisville, NC facility.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years experience in an automated distribution warehouse environment with large volume distribution operations and start-up and troubleshooting.

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities/Plant Management, or relevant field.

  • Managerial experience and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, IPB diagrams and electrical circuitry diagrams and drawings, and relay that information to additional members of the internal staff.

  • Experience with troubleshooting complex automated systems controlled by PLCs and microprocessors in a high-volume work environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing a staff of engineers and technicians to ensure daily productivity goals are achieved including planning effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and material handling systems.

  • Diagnoses error conditions occurring in the facility and repairs accordingly in support of division operations. Schedules and executes ongoing preventive maintenance program for building and material handling equipment.

  • Assists in the configuration maintenance, modifications, and system upgrades of MHE and APS control systems to include PLC programming.

  • Keeps facility management apprised of escalating abnormal or critical situations and coordinates resolutions/repairs with outside professional maintenance.

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$122,500/year
