The renovated library is envisioned to become the heart of the campus that not only supports traditional library services and resources, but also serves as the hub for holistic academic support: The Academic Success Center. This one-stop services approach will support the College's mission by offering access to resources, technology, and services that promote student success and persistence. The Academic Success Center will serve as a physical and virtual hub for innovation, collaboration, inquiry, teaching, and engagement.

The Dean of Libraries and Learning Resources oversees the academic support services whose shared focus is the development, implementation, and assessment of innovative academic and co-curricular initiatives, rich learning resources, and services that promote student access, equity, and success.

The Dean of Libraries and Learning Resources is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the library and academic resources. The Dean provides leadership and vision for all library functions, including managing staff, the library's operational budget and facility, and provides administrative oversight and coordination of academic resources for the tutoring center, accessibility services, and distance education and design services.

The Dean works to assure collaboration between academic resources to create a cohesive and student-centered model that strategically aligns with the mission, vision, and goals of SUNY Morrisville.
