Job Title: Manual Machinist

Job Description

This position involves operating various machine tools to manufacture and repair mechanical assemblies. The role requires recording all necessary data to produce expected service and design results, including sizing and illustrations. Responsibilities include performing milling operations like drilling, tapping, boring, and conventional milling and lathe work. The position also entails balancing mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment, performing various metalizing techniques, and various welding operations including the setup and use of MIG, TIG, torch, and stick welders. Additionally, the machinist will set up and perform tool-post grinding operations, broaching procedures, and use various handheld and stationary power and non-power tools. Responsibilities also include lifting and adjusting heavy objects to maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
