Intern/Co-op opportunities can lead to full time careers Real World Responsibilities: During your time with us you will: Support startup operations of new product lines and provide daily engineering support for existing product lines Problem-solve issues on the line causing production delays and utilize lean concepts to make improvements Develop and evaluate Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice, and Special Manufacturing Instruction documents As part of our team we will: Provide you with real-work assignments that will provide you valuable experience as you begin your career Must haves: Currently pursuing an ABET accredited degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field Ability to work full-time during summer months (approximately 12 weeks) Desire to work in a hands-on work environment in a manufacturing plant Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as SolidWorks and AutoCAD Ability to work in a team environment Nice to haves: Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and goals Experience in hands-on club (FSAE/Baja, etc.) Positive and energetic Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks/projects at one time, and/or project management experience Attention to detail and accuracy The compensation for this position is $26/hr for undergraduate interns and $28/hr for graduate or returning interns.
