JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enable undercarriage team to build and disassemble test iron.
Schedule all activities in the shop (Press schedule, Inspection schedule, Production schedule)
Schedule any OT required
Order parts for all builds (Engineering or Production)
Order all consumables and tools for the shop (PPE, Oil, etc)
Schedule all shipments out of the Track shop (to East Peoria, to Dealers, etc)
Perform all required inspections and maintenance (hoists, cranes, presses, fork lifts, etc)
Assist with builds and tear downs
Assist with inspections
Run the Press Weld
Take ownership in some tests as a load leveling mechanism
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED with 8-10 years of Engineering or production experience OR
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing in lieu of experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
Knowledge of logistic flows in and out of a factory
Ability to schedule time on equipment, large press, scheduling press
Knowledge of setting a factory up to run efficiently
Problem Solving Skills
Basic Project Managing with the ability to prioritize tasks
