Robert Half is excited to announce a Network Engineer Opportunity in Mount Laurel, New Jersey!

We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team based in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. In this role, you will be working on the design, configuration, and deployment of LAN and WAN network connections, hardware software, and communication links and services. You will also be tasked with optimizing the network and systems services and troubleshooting any network performance issues. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Location: Onsite in Mont Laurel, New Jersey

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on work with IP router/switch/telephony customer premises equipment

• Design, configure, and deploy LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software, communication links, and services

• Optimize network and systems services, and troubleshoot any network performance issues

• Responsible for the service provision and monitoring of the network infrastructure to company standards

  Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Specific knowledge and 3 to 5 years of experience with Cisco and Juniper routers

• Knowledge of internetworking designs, their applications, and routing

• Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies

• Experience with network protocols

• Firewall experience with firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint NG, etc.

• Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE are highly desirable
