Google Senior Product Manager, Pixel in Mountain View, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

  • Experience developing consumer software products in the mobile space.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading consumer products through goals and execution, including marketing and go-to-market strategy.

  • Experience in building and shipping innovative and user-friendly products.

  • Familiarity with computing, mobile operating systems, and software application development lifecycles.

  • Understanding of phone ecosystems, user behavior, and growth tactics.

  • Ability to lead initiatives, focused on building differentiated value for strategic audiences.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and investigative skills.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will lead our software experience strategy for large screen devices on Pixel. You will be responsible for driving the product development from goal to execution, with a focus on building a differentiated device experience around key strategic value pillars and audiences.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Own product goal and strategy for large screens on Pixel.

  • Define the multi-year goal and strategy for Pixel tablets and foldables, manage roadmap and priorities, and oversee high quality on-time execution.

  • Contribute to Pixel’s switch and stay objective through a coherent product narrative and a clear set of success metrics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Pixel (e.g., Hardware, Software, Marketing, Research, and more), as well as Android and first-party teams to drive Pixel-specific differentiation and innovation.

  • Identify and drive new opportunities for partnership across Google and beyond to significantly enhance user acquisition, engagement and unique value proposition.
