Kelly Services Fork Lift Operator in Mountville, Pennsylvania

Fork Lift Operator

Location: Mountville, PA

Shift: 1st, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Pay: $19.04 hourly

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload and load customer product, scan product, and place it correctly in warehouse.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.

  • Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate area.

  • Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise for shipping.

  • Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.

  • Assist in maintaining warehouse security.

  • Participate in physical inventories as needed.

  • Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking.

  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including stand up forklifts (Lift truck), stand up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks, and radio frequency equipment.

  • Report all safety malfunctions on equipment.

  • Comply with OSHA standards.

  • Meet production standards.

  • Follow attendance policy, showing up for work on time and ready to work the assigned shift.

  • Charge forklift battery as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • At least one year of related work experience.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Willingness to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed.

  • Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.

  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

  • Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screening Required.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent sitting, hearing or talking, and using close vision.

  • Occasional distance vision, standing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting.

Additional Details

  • Cold environment. Facility is climate controlled.

  • Standing, bending, twisting, turning, lifting, reaching.

  • Tools and Technology: Computer, Warehouse management system, Pallet Jack, high lift, sit down or stand up lift truck, Hi-lift, RC.
