WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Fleet Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and administrative functions related to CPI’s vehicle fleet. This role ensures that all fleet vehicles are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and efficiently utilized to support CPI’s service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management:

  • Coordinate the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of fleet vehicles.

  • Maintain accurate records of all fleet-related activities, including registrations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures for fleet operations.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of fleet vehicles.

Budget and Cost Control:

  • Monitor and manage the fleet budget, including expenses related to fuel, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within fleet operations.

Vendor Management:

  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers for vehicle maintenance, repairs, and procurement.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality service.

Fleet Utilization and Optimization:

  • Track and analyze fleet utilization to ensure optimal use of vehicles.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce downtime.

Administrative Support:

  • Prepare and maintain fleet reports, records, and documentation.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of fleet policies and procedures.

Driver Support and Training:

  • Provide support and training to drivers on fleet policies, safety procedures, and vehicle operation.

  • Address driver concerns and issues related to fleet vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or administration.

  • Strong understanding of fleet management principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.

  • Proficient in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
