By joining our  Enterprise Sales Excellence team , you will be part of our Business Sales Operations and Excellence (BSO&E) organisation which is a core pillar of the German Sales Enablement and Operations segment. We are playing a pivotal role in our growth ambition and transformation in the German market. Our team works cross-industry, cross-segment, and cross-solution with a clear mandate to manage our business in a consistent, continuous, and fact-driven manner. Through our Rhythm of Business (RoB), we play a huge role to keep everybody honest when it comes to business performance, challenge to thrive for ambitions and support the transformation of how we are doing business.

We are looking for an outcome-driven  Sales Excellence Intern * with focus on the Solution Areas *Modern Work, Security, Business Applications & Unified Support  to support our segment's current and forward-looking business goals. You will drive a predictable Rhythm of Business (RoB) with cross-functional teams to ensure quality four-quarter rolling business outcomes. You will work with Segment Management to instill usage and sales process discipline on pipeline health management, guide Managers on Microsoft methodologies, and collaborate across roles and segments to proactively seek resolution to manage change within your segment. Responsibilities

  • Planning Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders on business planning.Ensure alignment of tools and processes with field sellers' needs, facilitating change management and promoting best practices.

  • Data-driven Insights and Sales Execution : Contribute to driving and guiding consistent sales excellence discipline and governance. Provide insights based on data-analysis to support decision-making within and across the Enterprise segment.

  • Pipeline Health and Management : Assist in the execution of predictable revenue and usage growth by solution area, ensuring alignment with Microsoft standards. Leverage understanding of sales science and support the maintenance of a healthy sales pipeline through accurate forecasting and strategic planning.

  • Sales Execution Transformation : Participate in the implementation of evolving and new Microsoft Sales strategies, initatives, processes, and objectives. Aid in driving sustainable growth and improving sales performance through innovative approaches.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Business Operations, Business Administration, Finance or related field.

  • Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.  

  • You must be legally authorised to work in Germany to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit) for your employment with Microsoft and the country where you work.
