The Consumer Sales Organization (CSO) is a global team at Microsoft responsible for sales across Modern Life (Windows, Microsoft 365, and Surface) and Gaming.  CSO puts the consumer at the center, helping them discover, learn, and buy through direct and partner channels in over 120 countries around the world.  In the Business Program Manager organization you will be part of a rapidly growing center of innovation chartered with solving customer pain points for a global ecommerce brand.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible deep diving and prioritizing paths forward as it relates to Consumer fraud and compliance measures. You will work across many internal teams to understand impact and urgency as well as designing non-disruptive solutions on behalf of the customer. Your ability to balance day-to-day business needs while maintaining a high-level strategic perspective is critical in this role. Partnering across several engineering teams, you will own defining features, developing milestone dates and coordinating with post-launch teams to ensure a successful rollout. You are a customer evangelist, providing a balanced voice around the overall Microsoft Store e-commerce opportunity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Plug into existing sprint planning cycles with engineering to prioritize strategic projects.

  • Balance urgency of compliance requests with the long-range goals of the business

  • Partner with fraud and risk to prevent bad actors behavior in a multi-country online shopping experience

  • Put product lifecycle rigor behind our compliance needs, developing requirements, roadmaps, short-term/long-term solutioning and go to market

  • Own stakeholder feedback loops and reporting to bring a highly matrixed organization along for the ride.

  • Work closely with data teams, finance and legalto verify and validate business assumptions tobetter define engineering priorities.

  • Be the voice of the customer in all meetings, challenging assumptions with data and maintaining a long-term vision for Microsoft Store.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of Ecommerce product management experience.

  • 5+ years of risk and compliance experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years technology/process improvement experience.

  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a product lifecycle by working across multiple stakeholders.

Marketing Technology IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $101,200 - $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $130,000 - $213,200 per year.
