Role’s key contribution: This role is part of Procurement’s Sourcing team, which is responsible for leading supplier relationships, and possessing and delivering Value Chain Expertise, Scale & Global Leverage and Sourcing Best Practices. This role would fall under Raw Materials procurement.

Your role is to support strategic procurement interventions in the fragrances portfolio as well as supporting ongoing activities in Home Care fragrances portfolio. Another key part of the role would be working on supporting forecasting and ongoing innovation projects on fragrance briefs. Key interface with stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, S&I teams, digital team. Your role may also involve cost analysis, data analytics and identifying opportunities to optimise the portfolio. Successful applicants will gain first-hand experience in the procurement core processes, from analysis, preparation, negotiation to supplier management. You need to ensure you deliver best in class service, partnerships, the most competitive prices and genuinely committed to Unilever’s sustainably led business model, connected with Unilever and the business agenda.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • You are a born leader: You take on a role leading, portfolio wide activities, to deliver the portfolio objectives with cross divisional teams such as accurate price forecasting and complexity reduction.

  • You achieve key business targets: Delivering Superior, affordable, and sustainable fragrances globally. You monitor and track progress of key metrics to ensure you prepare information on purchase prices and conditions to enable proper budgeting and cash forecasting.

  • You are a strategy guru: You lead the co-creation of a long term, strategic sourcing strategy to keep on top of dynamic market conditions, understand direct and indirect factors influencing price and develop a view of future trends, bringing insights internally to support the strategy.

  • You are an externally facing expert in the supplier landscape: You will assess, identify, and select the appropriate suppliers that meet the needs of the business in a dynamic environment. You ensure and manage overall performance of suppliers and surpass stakeholder needs for Superior availability.

  • You take considered decisions under pressure: You handle complex and diverse customer, supplier, stakeholder, supply chain or operational issues within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • You are a storyteller: You use your strategic influencing skills to drive Procurement considerations and recommendations to project and key stakeholders.

  • You create growth for Unilever: You work closely with Brand, R&D, Supply Chain, Strategy and Insights and Category Procurement teams to support the launch of innovations and new product development
