Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly qualified IT Business Analyst with a focus on Digital Transformation & Data Insights to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Mumbai. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an elite organization that is at the forefront of digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement digital transformation plans aligned with organizational goals.

• Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and drive business growth.

• Implement data-driven initiatives for digital optimization across various groups and functions.

• Champion a culture of continuous digital improvement within the organization.

• Use strong data analysis and interpretation skills to support informed decision-making and long-term planning.

• Display the ability to effectively communicate and manage collaborators, promoting seamless partnership across different functions.

• Collaborate with business leaders, IT delivery teams, customers, and vendors to understand the current state and desired outcomes of digital transformation projects.

• Conduct research, analysis, and modeling to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities in existing and proposed solutions.

• Participate in various stages of the project lifecycle, including strategy, design, implementation, evaluation, and delivery.

• Focus on B2B commerce, CRM, and surrounding systems such as dealer management apps and workflow tools for Order to Cash.

• Collaborate with global IT, local IT teams, and partners to roll out global projects for India & South Asia.

• Independently perform gap analysis and propose solutions for new requests, ensuring progress and delivery quality.

• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

Technical Skills:

• Good understanding of the concepts of SOAP and REST services both XML and JSON message formats.

• Create designs and be responsible for the implementation of enterprise integration capabilities between various heterogeneous systems including e-commerce platforms, Data lakes, SAP, E1, SFDC, etc.

• Good to have hands-on experience in cloud integration, API management, workflow automation, and analytics integration.

• Proficiency in data analysis, data visualization, process mapping, and project management.

• Strong data analysis and visualization skills to collect, organize, and present data in a meaningful way.

• Process mapping skills to document and optimize workflows and interactions of business processes.

• Project management skills to plan, implement, and monitor project activities and work.

• Good to have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Miro, and MS-Visio.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.

• Knowledge of digital platforms such as cloud computing, e-marketplace (SAP Ariba, Coupa), mobile apps, or artificial intelligence.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in IT/ MBA in business and technology management

• 7-10+ years of functional experience in driving digital & data projects and understanding of business operations including knowledge of key performance indicators.

• Agile certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).

• Critical thinking skills to align digital transformation and data initiatives with the organizational vision and mission.
