Position Overview

Innomotics APAC & ME is seeking a Procurement Buyer who will be responsible for managing indirect categories in the India & ME within the Procurement, Logistics and ECC Organization. The indirect commodities buyer will focus on assigned categories that support and meet the needs of internal customers. Key responsibilities include development of sourcing strategies, delivery of cost savings through change management, managing supplier relationships, developing and effectively managing internal customer relationships.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare and conduct negotiations & management of the indirect Procurement demands in the entire region Middle East and India based on demand, market, and supplier analysis to ensure long-term, cost-efficient, and reliable on-time supply in the required quality.

• Ensure close cooperation with internal customers to reach the best results for the demanded purchasing volume while adhering to legal and internal requirements

• in the Categories Services & Goods, Travel & Fleet, IT & Real Estate and continuously seek opportunities for cost reductions, process efficiency improvements or end user enhancements.

• Ensure best in class transparency regarding KPIs and persistently work towards achievement of the given targets.

• Contribute to the implementation of global strategies for the different categories by implementing them regionally in a tailored way.

Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Economics, Engineering) required.

• Candidate will demonstrate a successful track record in defining and implementing productivity measures (e.g. tenders, negotiations).

• Must be a team player and like to cooperate with an international team.

• Multiple years of relevant working experience in (indirect) Procurement or a similar function.

• Must possess good listening, analyzing, presenting and persuading skills.

• Gained intercultural experiences and have a service attitude.

• Enjoy negotiations and to achieve challenging targets.

• You will work within an international team, where English is the main language.

• Must be fluent in English.
