T his position is responsible for partnering with Business HR in the overall planning and implementation of the ongoing and annual training plan and for providing insights on improvement of all courses including instructor-led, virtual and blended. The role is also responsible for determining the optimal training plan to support global and local priorities. Provides effective guidance and support to the Colgate Business Services (CBS) Learning Team and On-site delivery teams.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • A ccountable for overall quality and execution of Learning logistic, administration, planning and delivery activities

  • Keep abreast of business and training needs that may affect the Region

  • Support identification of process improvements related to delivery and logistics

  • Provide strategic guidance and support to Business HR and CBS Learning and On-Site delivery teams

  • Identify and recommend specific administration and delivery activities for specific learning programs

  • Interact with Global Learning Community of HR Expertise for training support activities

  • Conduit between the BHR and the COHRE- Help understand basic training needs and communicate the same to COHRE

  • Review learning evaluation results and adjust future learning delivery approaches as needed

  • Promote the necessary environment for effective internal customer satisfaction and collaboration.

  • Ensure ongoing collaborative relationships with key internal operations partners

  • Assist Business HR to ensure optimization and full utilization of training resources

  • Align Training work plan with business work plan

  • Develop, implement, track and analyze reports and communicate to all levels of management on program compliance and learning needs

  • Constantly look at ways and means to automate processes with less manual dependence

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • Minimum Education/Experience:

  • 9 years of HR/Learning experience

  • Up to 7 years of Learning experience

  • HR Learning experience on the ground preferred

  • Master preferred

  • Managing people

  • English: fluent (speaking, reading, writing)

Areas of Skills

  • Strong customer management experience and ability to manage customer expectations

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and know when to escalate issues for resolution

  • Strong time management skills to prioritize effectively and handle multiple, aggressive deadlines

  • Strong project and process management skills

  • Knowledge of learning technology tools that support learner access (e.g., virtual or mobile)

  • Basic understanding of regional laws or local requirements, as applicable for Learning

  • Knowledge of operations management and process improvement approaches, concepts, and tools

  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner, both in person or remotely

  • Knowledge of LMS functionality,

  • Demonstrated understanding of planning, scheduling and budgeting activities

  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for gaining cooperation and support

  • Gathers and analyzes data and effectively responds to new, complex, or problematic situations

Functional Competencies

Prior experience as Training Leader on the ground preferred
