Your Role and Responsibilities

As an MDM Data Engineer, you would be responsible for

Define Master Data Architecture:

Lead the design and maintenance of the Master Data architecture, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and alignment with industry best practices.

Utilize advanced data modeling techniques to effectively model enterprise data domains such as Patient, Provider, Product, Customer, and Finance.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Overall experience of 18+ years of Industry experience.

  • 15+ Years of experience on IBM MDM

  • Strong technical background in Master & Reference Data Management.

  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of best practices for building core MDM capabilities including Workflow, Matching, Hierarchy Management, and Security.

  • 5+ years of MDM development, administration, and integrations experience.

  • 10+ years of direct experience in MDM analysis, design, development, support, and operations with at least two leading MDM tool suites.

  • 5+ years of technical knowledge on Data Architecture and Data Integration.

  • Full life cycle implementation experience in MDM Solution in various domains such as Customer, Party, and Product, including additions, extension, business rule, PME tuning.

  • 10-12 years of Java J2EE development & Python coding.

  • At least 8 years of working experience in SOA technologies, tools, and governance.

  • Experience with related Data Governance concepts and solutions (Business Glossaries, Data Catalog, Data Quality analysis and remediation, Data Lineage).

  • Familiar with MDM trends, concepts, and available tools in the market including MDM solutions, AI/ML with MDM.

  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in managing Data Supply Chain and Data Lifecycle.

  • Hands-on expert in data analysis within and outside data warehouse, data consolidation, and data management/governance.

  • Able to lead a team and review designs independently, lead code reviews, and ensure quality throughout the project's life.

  • Demonstrates strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage day-to-day interactions effectively and relationships with a diverse group of colleagues.

  • Experience resolving technical incidents and issues with the MDM product.

  • Experienced in installation and Upgrades.

  • Experienced in MDM Backup & recovery strategy.

  • Experienced in Performance tuning.

  • Knowledge of BAW and stewardship UI.

  • Knowledge of Consent implementation.

  • Knowledge of Account, Macro role & Party Relationship is required.

  • Knowledge of tagging and onboarding data stewards.

  • Knowledge of LDAP integration.

  • Knowledge of Handler & composite view implementation.

  • Knowledge of Notification.

  • Knowledge of MDM Reporting strategy.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience with other database platforms and technologies (e.g., DB2,Oracle, SQL Server).

  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.

  • Knowledge of database regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
