What do you contribute?

European rail transport is on the move – this enables us to prepare our customers’ vehicles to meet their current and future needs. The Vectron locomotive platform is authorized in 18 countries according to the European regulations and the national requirements.

  • As a technical authorization manager (f/m/d) you support us to keep the conformity to all those requirements and rules by setting up the complete evidence management, controlling the verification deliveries in time and supporting expert discussions.

  • You act in the international, cross-functional team of the specialists of engineering, authorization management, technical management, project management and external partners according to the 4th European Railway package.

  • Furthermore, you support the interface between variant management and configuration management for the vehicle type definition.

  • Remote and hybrid forms of working are established, but we also need the personal contact. therefore, travel time will be up to 10…20%.

  • A high degree of proactivity and communication for executing the tasks entrusted to you is required.

What do you bring along?

  • The basis of your success is a completed technical Bachelor degree in the electrotechnical or software field or in industrial engineering.

  • Your profile is characterised by some years of professional experience, in fields such as authorization, engineering or project management of railway vehicles.

  • First experiences with the verification process according to the 4 th railway package of the European Union would be an advantage.

  • You communicate fluently in German and you are able to communicate also in English. Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
