County of Muskegon Crisis Stabilization Specialist - 2nd Shift in Muskegon, Michigan

A Crisis Stabilization Specialist, under general supervision of the Clinical Services Supervisor, is a part of a 24-hour mobile crisis response team that works on both the warm/helpline and community response team that provides risk evaluation and stabilization services to children, adolescents, adults, senior adults and families that might have varying degrees of mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or substance use disorders. The Crisis Stabilization Specialist will be responsible for leading a 2-person team in the community to provide services that include identification of risk factors, de- escalation skills, providing therapeutic interventions within the professional's scope of practice and supporting referrals to services within HealthWest programs and community partners. Crisis Stabilization Specialist will have a 40-hour work schedule that includes weekend shifts as a part of their regular schedule.
