In this role, you will ensure the organization complies with state and federal laws and regulations, focusing on creating and filing healthcare insurance policies. This role offers a hybrid WFH schedule and competitive salaries!
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and edit insurance documents to ensure compliance
- Complete and manage SERFF/HIOS filings
- Research and document filing procedures
- Maintain an accurate filing status database
- Resolve issues with State DOI and Exchange officials
- Research and file required licenses and renewals
- Support compliance program implementation and staff guidance
- Assist with compliance investigations, security audits, and regulatory responses
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience with SERFF/HIOS filings
- Must have SERFF filing experience
- Compliance experience in the insurance industry
- Knowledge of state and federal filing requirements
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare privacy, cybersecurity, and Medicare compliance
- Audit and monitoring experience
