Groundskeeper

PeopleReady of Naples FL is now hiring Groundskeepers! Are you someone who could describe yourself as a "green thumb"? This position maintains the grounds of a community including trimming, raking, blowing, maintaining plantings, and spraying. The individual may perform light maintenance duties as needs arise to include but not limited to irrigation and repairing plumbing breaks.

They work as a team participant and work independently as well to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by the company. Must be able to life 50 lbs and work in diverse weather conditions.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Groundskeeper:

• Collection of trash at sites

• Cares for common areas and beds by laying mulch, removing weeds, and trimming trees and plants.

• Assists in setting up for special resident functions as needed.

• Be able to work in diverse weather conditions.

• Special projects as directed by management.

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift - Day

Job requirements:

• Previous experience as a Groundskeeper preferred

• Have basic operating knowledge of Groundskeeper tools

• Strong work ethic

• Able to focus on details at all times

• Able to lift 50 pounds in order to load and unload materials as well as carry needed tools to and from the jobsite

• Able to work outdoors in all temperatures, which may include heat (temperatures above 100 degrees) or cold (temperatures below 32 degrees)

• Background check required
