Job Description Position Overview: Continuously improve the facility's production planning, inventory control, customer service, and logistics. Provide support to Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse Departments in order to safely provide high quality containers in greater numbers at a superior level of service to the customer. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Coordinates scheduling for domestic and international shipments with carriers; monitors shipment scheduling system to ensure intercompany requirements, all in accordance with the Corporate Routing Guidelines. Accurately completes and maintains all shipping and receiving documentation and reports. Provide assistance with inventory control through cycle counting, production scheduling, and warehousing. MTP (Multi-Trip Packaging) coordinates supply of material/customer returns with in supply chain to support production requirements and any planned inventory builds, assist in customer audits as needed with Cycle Counter. Assist with compliance of all company policies including continuous improvement. Assist with audit preparations and compliance for GMP/ HACCP and IFS PacSecure. Assists with production planning on a daily basis and weekly scheduling to maximize equipment efficiencies under the following constraints; energy, warehouse space and obsolescence. Communicates with customers to satisfy product quantity and timing, information or planning requirements, product inquiries, and material specifications. Assists with raw material procurement to meet production needs. Partner with quality to assist in processing CINS / VINS and interval product holds as required. Assists with coverage of vacations and open shifts. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
