Actalent Production Supervisor in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description:

  • Responsible and accountable for shift output performance, maximizing team focus on building quality product, drive improvements through the production process, equipment up time and product quality incorporated into relevant KPI’s.

  • Identify, understand, report and improve manufacturing variances

  • Closely monitor and reduce amount of indirect activities by teams through active engagement

  • Develop and assist in development of production product standards

  • Coordinates production scheduling, staff planning and execution of the Production Plan to meet the Business Plan

  • Organization and coordination of a production team to manufacture quality product on schedule and in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with GMP

  • Initiate and drive production and quality improvement projects in line with the company lean manufacturing requirements.

  • Communicate with other teams on production related issues.

  • Oversee all personnel actions – hiring, disciplinary measures, performance appraisals in conjunction with HR

  • Manage staff associates, time & attendance ensuring that all records are kept promptly up to date including managing all time off requests for assigned lines to assure that production needs are met

  • Formulate and implement training p lans to meet compliance, versatility and development needs

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma / GED or relevant experience

  • 5-7 years supervisory experience in medical device assembly/packing environment, or similar regulated industry.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Basic computer/PC experience; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) desirable;
