BAE Systems Program Manager III (Hybrid) in Nashua, New Hampshire

Job Description

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

The Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) organization in Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solution (CEMA) is seeking an experienced program manager for a very important classified program. We are upgrading a legacy system to provide protection to the customer for emerging threats. You will work closely with the customer and other contractors to finalize the requirements, submit and negotiate the proposal, and execute this large development program.

In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.

In this role you will be part of the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line and directly responsible for a large development program. ACES is developing the next generation of expendable countermeasures and dispenser solutions leveraging our 40 year history in these technologies. Building on foundational programs such as ALE-55 and ALE-47 we are positioned well for continued growth.

Key expectations of the role include:

  • Plans, manages, coordinates, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes a large, classified development program.

  • Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Track record of success in planning and executing large, complex programs

  • Experience working with multi-discipline cross functional project teams, utilizing strong communication and collaboration skills to successfully manage assigned program(s)

  • Ability to understand and communicate with senior management regarding program performance status (cost/schedule/resources/risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives

  • Demonstrate visible leadership across the program leading by example and driving program performance excellence

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior leaders and customers

  • Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to achieve results through others.

  • Business acumen mindset, awareness within and outside the business

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgement in the performance of duties and in external interactions

  • Actively manage customer and stakeholder relationships to achieve positive outcomes for all parties

  • Review and monitor metrics on the projects and provide support as required to the product area director

  • Experience developing and delivering winning proposals

  • Ability to obtain a SAP/SAR clearance level

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Master s degree

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent certification

  • EMD (Engineering and Manufacturing Development) phase leadership

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
