Bridgestone Americas Manager, Remodel and CAPEX Programs in Nashville, Tennessee

Position Summary

Provide strategic and tactical leadership of BSRO's national remodel and roll out programs across a 2,200 existing store portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership of remodel and planned roll out programs across the portfolio

  • Manage vendor performance and contract compliance

  • Provide leadership of Real Estate managed FF&E procurement program for new stores, remodels, and tire inventory shelving program

  • Responsible for financial stewardship of 30M in annual spend, including budget management

  • Provide monthly presentations to executive leadership on program status

  • Lead sustainability enhancement projects across the portfolio

  • Lead test and learn roll outs of updated store concepts, equipment, and fixtures

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners including legal and procurement

  • Support marketing, Procurement, and EHSS on portfolio wide initiatives

  • Develop a best-in-class tire inventory shelving management program, including expanding provider base, reporting on repairs and spend, and tracking compliance matters

  • Lead and develop a team of project managers and program specialists

  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Real Estate Leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years' experience managing roll out, remodel, and national maintenance programs for a nationwide retailer

  • PMP Certification

  • 5 years' experience directly managing people

  • Working knowledge of general construction practices, and the ability to interpret construction plans (architectural, civil, and MEP)

  • Proficient at reading and interpreting legal documents such as contracts and master service agreements

  • Experience managing internal/external resources and a proven record of influencing non-direct reports

  • Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and communication skills

  • High ethical standards and reputation

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

The ideal candidate will reside in the Nashville, TN area.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; 6 y+ years of relevant experience including 3-5 years management and direct leadership experience

Or Master's degree; 5+ years of relevant experience including 2-4 years management and direct leadership experience
