Amazon Sr. Sales Ops Program Manager, Amazon Air Cargo in Nashville, Tennessee

Amazon Air is looking for a Sales Ops Program Manager to help drive the growth of Air Cargo customers. Do you have the business savvy, organization skills and ability to collaborate across multiple business owners to help establish Amazon Air as the premier air cargo provider?

In this role, you will support Amazon Air Cargo in evaluating performance against goals, opportunities for optimization, and attainment vs. forecast, utilizing various CRM tools to derive well-vetted analyses, and other ad-hoc requests and analysis as needed. You will support business activities such as Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics. Additionally, you will support the day-to-day execution of the business including sales approvals, tracking partner investments and Air Cargo account movements, and providing reporting and insights to partner business leaders.

As a Sales Ops Program Manager you will be a key member of the Air Cargo team ensuring the Air Cargo leadership team has the necessary information to operate and execute efficiently. You will need to have the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to solve problems, design and implement new reporting solutions, and deliver successfully against high standards. You should have a proven work ethic that drives the desired results.

The preferred location for this position is Bellevue, WA, but may sit in Nashville, TN.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive the evolution and enhancement of commercial tools and applications, develop key partner reporting systems/processes required to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve market development objectives

  • Collaborate with Business Partners to develop automation and enhancement of regular reporting for the broader business

  • Manage the development of continuously-evolving forecast models and methodologies, supporting the quantitative analysis of the performance of commercial teams and internal stakeholders

  • Develop relationships and partner with finance, network planning, and other stakeholders to identify and address reporting issues

  • Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses, and support related projects as needed

  • Conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • 5+ years of sales operations experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field

  • Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps

  • 10+ years of commercial air cargo experience

  • Experience working with senior level executives, negotiating long term deals

  • Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematics, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment

  • 5+ years of experience in air cargo or logistics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
