We are looking for someone who is ready to take that next step in their career and lead this new Survey team, where they will help drive it's success moving forward.
What You’ll Do:
As our Nashville Survey Manager, you will:
Build, direct and develop a team of survey professionals working on multiple large-scale projects
Plan, direct, and coordinate survey operations, including project managers, staff surveyors, technicians, and field operations
Develop efficient and customized solutions for projects of any scale
Be responsible for personnel management, proposal generation, and business development
Manage master contracts including fee estimation, project set-up, and execution of work
Prepare work plans, assemble project teams, delegate tasks and ensure compliance with scope and timely completion
Prepare client invoices, deliverables, and project-related correspondence
Responsible for accuracy, timeliness, and financial performance of assigned projects
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients

What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
10 years' of experience required with a minimum of:
5 years in a personnel management capacity
5 years in a business development capacity
Professionally licensed in land surveying in Tennessee
Licensure in other jurisdictions a plus
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus
Successfully oversee the production of ALTA, Topographic, Boundary, construction, utility and route surveys
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to lead staff, think critically, and provide support to multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to prepare and review technical proposals
